The recipient of a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Minnesota, Brian Baldwin started working with UPS while pursuing his degree, and held the role of supervisor before leaving the company in 1989. From 1991 to 2005, Brian Baldwin worked as an investment banker with the Minneapolis, Minnesota-based firm Miller, Johnson, Steichen & Kinnard. In this capacity, he helped raise tens of millions of dollars for promising startup businesses, and facilitated dozens of initial public offerings.
Brian Baldwin later served as chief financial officer of Visible Retail, LLC, which was a joint venture in partnership with Best Buy Corporation. He was tasked with raising 50 percent of the venture capital for the company as well as handling day-to-day responsibilities relating to accounting, business management, and research and development.
More recently, he has focused his career in the digital marketing and eCommerce sphere. Beyond his professional pursuits, he enjoys exercising regularly, playing the drums, and watching football and hockey.
